Application and recruitment process
When you apply, send a resume at the very least and, even better, a personalized cover letter! Any other documents will give us a better understanding of your background and reasons for applying

After you have submitted your application, you will usually receive a response within two weeks. We know you’re looking forward to joining us, but rest assured that every application is carefully considered. The number of interviews varies depending on the position and the profile sought. The recruitment process at Avril typically includes two or three interviews. An initial conversation with our HR or recruitment team will help us get to know each other. Then you will have one or two interviews with your future manager and your HR. For some positions, we may also ask you to take a test to better identify your skills.

Onboarding and daily life at Avril
As soon as you arrive at Avril, an onboarding course is organized to help you familiarize yourself with the company and your new team. You are supported by a mentor who is there to guide you and answer all your questions and you’ll follow an e-learning course to get to know our Group better, from the inside. You’ll also receive a welcome pack containing several documents to help you better understand your new environment.
Yes, Avril offers remote working opportunities for many positions. We offer flexible working conditions that meet the needs of our employees for a better work-life balance. For eligible positions and with managerial approval, remote working is possible for up to two days a week, with the option of adding two full (discontinuous) weeks of remote working every year.
Avril attaches great importance to the balance of its employees. That’s why, at Avril, we’ve put in place a number of balance measures, such as Commitment Leave (5 days freed up for voluntary activities in line with our raison d’être), the Flex’aidants program (8 days freed up for family carers), or the Congé Parenthèse (a fixed three-month break for personal reasons, after 5 years with the Group).

- Systematic response to all applications received and visibility given to candidates during the process regarding timelines
- Create a positive onboarding experience for successful candidates and support them throughout their onboarding process
