Elouan - Sales technician - Sanders
My name is Elouan Rousselin. I'm a technical sales representative in animal nutrition for the broiler poultry division at Sanders Ouest. My first mission is sales, which means selling feed, but also technical support. This takes up 95% of my time. I'm there to help breeders improve their technical performance, the comfort of their animals and breeders, and their income too. It's a lot of talking with breeders. It's also a matter of feeling what's going on on the farm. Paying attention to animal expression. Each animal, each breeder, each place expresses itself differently, and it's up to us to dig deep and find solutions to a specific problem. It's true that we have a degree of freedom in the field vis-à-vis our hierarchy, our company, which gives us a bit of a free hand when it comes to the choices we have to make in breeding, technical choices and things like that. And we're trying to move towards modernizing breeding, and it's a bit of a change of direction in the sense that we're improving things so that we can actually perpetuate breeding, maintain breeding, and improve comfort for animals and breeders. In addition to this, Sanders favors the use of French cereals in its feeds to have as positive an environmental impact as possible. So today, I'm happy to get up every morning to go and do my job, which is above all my passion. And behind all this, Avril and Sanders support me in training courses that enable us to learn a great deal all the time, and that enhance the value of our profession.
Acting for yourself, acting for others, acting to Serve the Earth, that's our daily life.

Ilias - Area manager - Lesieur
My name is Ilias, I'm 30 years old. I'm an area manager at Lesieur in the Paris-Nord region. I'm particularly attached to Lesieur because they've given me a chance, especially on a work-study program. I did my work-study for my Master's degree at Lesieur. My job is quite simply to develop sales and market share for my brands such as Lesieur, Puget and ISIO 4. I refer our products to my supermarket customers, but I can also promote them in the center aisle, through promotions or sales operations. What I like about my job is the autonomy you have on a daily basis. What I really like about Lesieur, and Avril in general, is the close-knit, human-scale nature of the company. It's very easy for employees to talk to each other. There's this closeness to a common goal. Working together is very important. But when I go to see a customer, the first thing I look for is a partnership. It's about creating this cohesion, this teamwork: the supplier and the distributor working together to achieve a common goal. What I'm most proud of is defending emblematic brands that are firmly rooted in the French landscape. Seeing that the French have understood our message. They understand that we are a key player in the agricultural sector. Avril's mission is “Serving the Earth”. It's something that speaks to me, something I'm proud of, as is communicating it to my customers. So I totally agree with what Avril is proposing. That's why I'm here. And that's why I'm staying!

Daniela - Business Supply Chain Process Analyst - Oleon
My name is Daniela Cominone and I've been working for Oleon for two years as a supply chain process analyst. We are the bridge between IT and the business. At Oleon, I've found a very good culture of respect and working together. We have an international team made up of people from different cultures, backgrounds and languages. But we all work towards a common goal, so that everyone can find their place. And in the end, we can deliver the product to the customer. I've always been fascinated by chemists. I find them very intelligent, but they know how to keep things simple. They're open to new ideas and are able to explain them to people who aren't chemists. That's what I like about Oleon: we can combine all kinds of experience and personalities and try to get the best out of everyone. I like this aspect where the human aspect is taken into account and where we can all talk. I like the feeling of trust and openness with all my colleagues. We have to translate everything that happens in real life in a supply chain, i.e. in logistics, from production to delivery to the customer. We translate it into the systems or into the computer, which enables interconnection between departments and countries where everyone works in the same system and can get results. Documents and analyses are translated into the computer.
There's nothing contradictory about combining performance and value sharing.

Pénélope Tavard, Avril Academy Training Manager - Talent and Learning, Avril
My name is Pénélope Tavard. I'm in charge of training at Avril. I define the entire learning strategy for Avril and its subsidiaries, and work with my team and our training partners to design talent development programs that we then roll out in France and internationally. What drives me every day in my job is working to really develop people. I think it's really interesting to contribute, to be a driving force in the professional and even personal development of Avril employees. “Serving the Earth” is really what we're all about every day at Avril. What I sense when I meet employees at training sessions or various events is that there is a real individual and collective commitment to this raison d'être. It's quite powerful, it's very engaging. We're working for a real cause. You're working to feed people, feed animals, feed the planet, ensure food sovereignty. And that, I find, is a real day-to-day commitment. And in the end, that's when you choose a different path.

Romain Pesquet, Performance and Energy Engineer, Saipol
My name is Romain Pesquet, I'm a performance and energy engineer at Saipol's Grand-Couronne site, and we work halfway between production and maintenance. So, on a day-to-day basis, we're going to come and look at the performance of the various units and, based on the failure analyses we carry out, set up the project and see it through to the end in production. The aim is to get the plant running smoothly, at the right rate and with the desired quality. You have to know how to innovate to meet tomorrow's challenges. You have to take a step back from the problem, ask yourself questions and try to respond boldly. In any case, we try to do this regularly by proposing new ways of doing things, new machines. But we're still allowed to propose innovative solutions that shake things up a bit. And to do so with humility. We mustn't forget that our machines will be driven by technicians, so we need to listen to them and understand their constraints, so that we can develop the machine that best meets their expectations. We have several subsidiaries within the group, such as Sanders, etc. We know that we're not the only one in the business. We know we're not alone, so we can count on our colleagues to ask questions. When you're in charge of a project, there's nothing more gratifying than taking the initiative, carrying out the study, design and implementation phases, and then being able to launch the project and see that it works.
There's nothing crazy about innovating boldly and moving forward with humility.
