OlivierBrunet

Avril CPO

"Our vision of procurement is a balanced relationship between Avril and its suppliers, based on performance, respect for individuals and the reduction of environmental impacts.

We want to create resilient, stable and sustainable supply chains, while also servicing our business lines in a competitive way.

This vision guides all our actions, from the selection of partners to the organization of this ecosystem."

Supplier code of conduct

The Supplier Code of Conduct presents Avril’s commitments vis-a-vis its suppliers, as well as the Group’s requirements vis-a-vis its stakeholders, notably with regard to human rights, business ethics and security.

All Avril suppliers must observe the standards and principles stipulated in this Code, which is essential to the relationship between Avril and its suppliers, and which the latter must commit to upholding.

The Avril Code of Ethics and Conduct, whose content includes stipulations regarding anti-corruption measures and anti-competitive practices, as well as social and environmental responsibility, also applies to Group suppliers.

Supplier CSR Assessment

In order to assess and limit sustainability-related risk, from 2024 Avril will be extending the evaluations carried out via the EcoVadis platform.

To goal is to evaluate suppliers representing 80% of Group spending by 2026.

Responsible supply of palm and soya

Soya and palm production represents a threat to certain ecosystems. Echoing its purpose (Serving the Earth) and its associated commitments, Avril has adopted a specific policy for its supply of materials issuing from oil palm or soya plantations, including a list of recognized certifications that suppliers must comply with.

Animal welfare

Conscious of societal expectations regarding animal welfare, since 2017 Avril has applied a dedicated policy covering the following species and production sectors in France: pork, laying hens, broiler poultry, rabbits and ruminants. This document establishes a reference framework for our internal employees, and also applies to any livestock farming operation falling within our scope of responsibility.
